high rebound soft foam, also known as "HR" foam (high resiliency foam). This kind of foam products can be cold cured, the processing technology is simple, and the physical properties are excellent. The product is characterized by high elasticity and high load ratio, and has a latex-like feel. Used to make seat cushions, the initial touch is soft and comfortable. When further compressed, it can provide solid and elastic support. It is an ideal paving and cushion material. It has a wide range of a

Formula Composition

Polyether polyol PPG:

Polyether polyols used in polyurethane high resilience sponges are mainly based on glycerol as the starting agent, propylene oxide as the long-chain monomer, 5000 molecular weight, 6000 molecular weight polyether, etc. There are also bio-based polyether polyols with vegetable oil instead of propylene oxide as long-chain monomers.

Polymer polyol POP:

In order to increase the hardness of the sponge, the formulation may require the use of polymer polyols, mainly 24% with 5000 molecular weight polyether as the base material and highly active polyether polyols with 40% solid content.

Isocyanate TDI:

Isocyanates used to produce polyurethane high resilience sponges are mainly TDI, modified MDI,TDI/MDI mixture, or TDI/MDI/modified MDI mixture.

Foaming agent:

There are two main types of foaming agents used to prepare polyurethane high resilience sponges, namely water and low boiling point compounds.

Hole opening agent:

Is a special kind of surfactant, which generally contains hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments as groups. Its function is to reduce the surface tension of the foam; promote the rupture of the cells, increase the opening rate of polyurethane foam, and improve the closed cells. Problems such as shrinkage of soft, semi-rigid and rigid foam products caused by the cell.

Homogenizing agent:

In the preparation of polyurethane high resilience foam, foaming agent is an essential key additive.

Catalyst:

Polyurethane can be basically divided into two categories: tertiary amine catalysts and organometallic compounds (including carboxylates and alkyl compounds).

Color paste:

Polyurethane has good dyeability. By adding dyes or pigment color paste, polyurethane foam, especially polyurethane soft foam, can be made into brightly colored products.

Release agent:

Polyurethane foam has good adhesion to many materials, it is necessary to apply release agent on the surface of the mold during molding, so that a thin isolation layer is formed between the foam skin and the mold, which is convenient for the release of products.

Polyurethane foam have good adhesion with many materials. In the molding process, the mold surface needs to be coated with release agent, so that the foam skin and the mold form a very thin isolation layer, easy to demoulding products.
